报告人简介：
Róbert von Fáy-Siebenbürgen 教授，国际知名的太阳物理专家，发表了160 篇论文（其中Science 两篇，Nature 1 篇）。现在任职于英国The University of Sheffield（谢菲尔德大学）应用数学系，学术兼职有：
Solar Physics & Space Plasma Research Centre (SP2RC)主任,
Mathematics and Statistics Research Centre 主任等；
还主持多个基金；主要学术成就：
Solar Physics:
Studies of linear and nonlinear MHD wave heating under solar atmospheric Conditions: discovery of torsional Alfv′en waves in the solar atmosphere (Science 2009);
derivation of the generalised governing equation for resonant slow MHD waves in isotropi and anisotropic steady plasmas; developing the model of wave coupling of solar interior-atmosphere (Science 2007)
Computational Magneto hydrodynamics (CMHD): proving the direct dynamic effects of p-modes on spicule formation (Nature 2004 cover page article)
