报告题目:From fractional Allen-Cahn equation to nonlocal minimal surfaces

报告摘要:For singularly perturbed Allen-Cahn equations and Ginzburg-Landau equations, it is known that their singular limits are minimal submanifolds. In this talk I will discuss a result on the fractional Allen-Cahn equation, linking its limit to the so called stationary fractional minimal surfaces. In contrast to the classical case, here we can obtain a rather strong convergence result, as well as many good estimates. This is a joint work with Vincent Millot and Yannick Sire.

王克磊,教授,2010年博士毕业于中国科学院系统与数学所,曾获得过中国科学院优秀博士学位论文奖励,以及荣获第十一届钟家庆数学奖;在国际著名期刊Adv. Math.,、Math. Ann.、TAMS、JFA等发表数十篇论文。
报告题目:Refined Finite-dimensional Reduction Method and Applications to Nonlinear Elliptic Equations

报告摘要:I will talk the refined finite dimensional reduction method and its application to nonlinear elliptic equations. We use this refined reduction method to get optimal bound on the number of interior spike solutions of the singularly perturbed Neumann problem. I will also talk about the entire solutions for nonlinear schrodinger equations.

敖微微,副教授,博士生导师,2013年博士毕业于香港中文大学。已在国际著名期刊SIAM J. Math. Anal.、Comm. Anal. Geom.、Memoirs Amer. Math. Soc.、CV PDE、JFA等发表数十篇论文。
