摘要:
The quantum nonlinear Schrodinger equation (QNLSE) has been widely used as a model equation for studying the quantum effects of bosonic solitons. In particular, the possibility of squeezing generation through quantum solitons was predicted by theoretical works in 1987 and subsequently confirmed by fiber soliton experiments in 1991. Here, considered as a multipartite quantum system, time-multiplexed nonlinear Schrodinger solitons after collision are rigorously proved to become quantum entangled in the sense that their quadrature components of suitably selected internal modes satisfy the inseparability criterion [1]. We also reveal the quantum correlations and quantum noise in soliton collisions [2], and fiber-Bragg-grating solitons [3]. Moreover, we propose to utilize the effect of coherent population trapping (CPT) to directly generate squeezed light without any optical cavity, as a new avenue in the generation of squeezed light for quantum interface [4].
